Does it work with my Shopify theme?
Yes. Parlata ships as a native Shopify app with two theme blocks (Reviews + Customer Q&A). One click in the theme editor and they are live on every product page. No theme code to write.
What if the customer records something bad?
You approve every review and every Q&A before they publish. The moderation queue flags low-quality audio automatically, and you can edit the transcript before approving.
What languages do you support?
Spanish and English at launch. Portuguese and French land in Q3 2026.
Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. Customers opt in before recording, audio lives in a private bucket served only via 1-hour signed URLs, and we honor Shopify's three GDPR webhooks (customers/redact in 24h, shop/redact in 48h, customers/data_request within Shopify's 30-day SLA).
Does Google penalize audio-sourced reviews for SEO?
No - the transcripts are real human language from real customers. Google only penalizes synthetic, AI-generated reviews. Parlata reviews rank like any other.
